My template is very small, so I had to make the images small so they'd fit. Click on the images for larger ones.

英語 で:
A long time ago... ok, two weeks ago. For my father's birthday, my parents and I drank some sake. I don't drink very much, but my parents asked for some good sake*. In July, at the wedding dinner, we had the best sake.

It became my job to buy some delicious sake. I bought four bottles.

Losers:

It was fun. We should do it again**.

* I think this sentence is wrong. I seem to recall a discussion with Colin about a "going for beer" sentence once, long ago.

** Lit.: It would be good to do it again. I think.

You say 私 too much! ^_^ Me me me!

Anyway, corrections, or possibly compounding your errors:

I think it should be 二週間前(にしゅうかん前), no の. The next sentence could be written as 「りょうしん と いっしょ に ちち の たんじょうび で おさけ を 飲みました。」or, using kanji 「両親と一緒に父の誕生日でお酒を飲みました。」

「りょうしん は いい おさけ に 聞きました。」 reads as "My parents asked good sake," to which I might reply, "Asked it what?" So anyway, what you meant to say, I think, was that your parents asked for (asked you to get) some good sake. Given that, you could say, 「両親にいいお酒を頼まれました。」(りょうしん に いい おさけ を たのまれました。)"[I was] asked by [my] parents for good sake." Or you could say 「両親はいいお酒が欲しいとい言いました。」(りょうしん は いい おさけ が ほしい と いいました。)"[My] parents said they wanted good sake."

In the final sentence of the first paragraph, you should use 結婚式(けっこんしき)for the wedding, and ずいぶん さいこう suffers from a kind of redundancy, like "very the best". Thus 「七月に、結婚式の食事で私たちはさいこうのお酒を飲みました。」(しちがつに、けっこんしき の しょくじ で わたしたち は さいこう の おさけ を のみました。)

Second paragraph: 美味しいお酒を買うことが私の仕事になりました。(おいしい おさけ を かう こと が わたし の しごと に なりました。)

I think it's fine to say 「お酒四本買いました」, but I think 「お酒を四本買いました」 is also correct. Maybe you can check up on that for me. ^_^

The last sentence actually has the sense of, "It would be good to do it again," as if you were giving advice. Generally in a situation like that you would say something like 「またしたいと思います。」(また したい と おもいます。)

And another thing:

一応言っときますけど、次回から漢字を使って、空白を使わないようにしたいと思います。いつか慣れないといけませんよ。

I'm just going to let you know that from now on I'm going to use kanji and not use spaces. You have to get used to it someday.

^_^

Just checked a couple of things with my 先生.

First, either お酒四本買いました or お酒を四本買いました is acceptable. That clears up a long-standing worry of mine, actually, but I probably won't remember the next time it occurs to me to think about it.

Second, apparently both you and I have 英語 on the brain. My suggestion of 美味しいお酒を買うことが私の仕事になりました apparently sounds unnatural. Probably you have to re-think the sentence entirely, for example, you might say 「私は美味しいお酒を買う係員(かかりいん)になりました。」Still sounds a little weird to me though.

Well, seeing how I only know 英語, that's not all too surprising. Plus, I make no claims that my 英語 isn't strange either. I certainly haven't gotten to the point where I think in 日本語 rather than 英語, partly because I haven't heard enough 日本語、 methinks.

OTOH, if you're having that problem too, I'm screwed. We need to come up with a plan about that.

Excellent comments as always and I'm trying to stop talking about myself so much.

Best wishes to your 先生.
