In October, I'll be at a conference. I'll be presenting a paper. Right now, I'm reading a lot, so I won't have much time for writing the blog. Maybe.
Yeah, I had to make a lot of dictionary checks on this one. Still, there's a lot of good terms for me to remember, so I'll have to keep using them or something.
I'm not sure if ねんかい is the word you want. To me, that just says "annual meeting." For an academic conference I would say 学会（がっかい）. Also, using います in that context sounds a little odd to me. I would suggest using 行きます instead.
提出（ていしゅつ） means to submit (as in submit homework, or submit your paper for review). What you will be doing at the conference is probably 発表（はっぴょう）, to announce or present.
I'd never heard だいぶん before, although I know the variant 大分（だいぶ）. They both use the same kanji, apparently, which suggests to me that their meaning and usage is similar. To me, although I could be wrong, 大分 is used to say a large part. It's also used as emphasis in some idiomatic phrases like 大分長い間（だいぶながいあいだ） "[over/for] a long time." In your sentence I would use たくさん.
Word order is not usually a problem in Japanese, but I believe the placement of あまり between かく and じかん sounds a little strange. I would say あまりブログを書く時間がありません or ブログを書く時間があまりないです. I believe the problem is that あまり where you put it breaks up the noun clause ブログを書く時間.
Although でしょう does mean "maybe," I don't think I've ever seen it used by itself except in the idiom of saying でしょう with a rising tone of voice to say something like "See?" I would use たぶん, here, which means "probably" but gets used as a sentence by itself fairly often.
I debated about ねんかい. It could go either way, I guess. The Midwest Archaeology Conference (MAC) only happens once a year, but there are other conferences. I couldn't decide. I also don't know if you could count it as an academic conference. We're all scientists, of a sort, but not all of us are academia. Hmm... choices, choices...
As for the います v. 行きます, you can use either in English, I usually say something like "I'll be at the conference" rather than "I'll be going to the conference." Then again, that's English and I gotta break that habit.
